Is the studio adopted CDC and Local County recommended COVID-19 Safety Protocols?

Yes, our focus is to ensure our students and instructors are able to enjoy the benefits of training in a responsible and safe manner.   Our safety guidelines include: • Following the Santa Clara County Covid 19 Pandemic guidelines • Hand sanitizer is made available for you to wash your hands before and after training. • Mat area sanitized after each training session. • All students participating have been asked to be fully vaccinated. • Do not come in if you, or any one in your family, have COVID-19 symptoms or a fever. • The training area will be outdoors.

Are COVID-19 vaccines mandatory?

Yes, for the safety of the instructors, students, and community, everyone at Shiba Studios must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.

What happens during a typical class?

A typical class starts with (structured) functional warm ups. After warming up, the group lesson covers the technique of the day followed by positional drills. At the end of the drills, more advanced students will have ample time to train with each other.
